Respawn Pulls Titanfall From Sale And Subscription Services

Back in 2014, Respawn Entertainment launched Titanfall. It was a unique game with an interesting concept and cracking graphics. Notwithstanding, in recent years, the game has received quite unfavorable reviews and has been fighting an uphill battle against hackers who have been hacking the game and launching DDoS attacks that accept fabricated the game pretty much unplayable.

Information technology seems that Respawn has had enough and in a tweet, they have announced that they will be pulling the game from sales and will too be taking information technology off subscription services. The game will now no longer be available for buy starting from today, and those who take paid for subscription services that include the game will no longer be able to access it come up 1st of March, 2022.

Respawn does not mention why they accept removed the game, just equally PCGamer notes, the peak concurrent users on Steam at the time of posting is a beggarly 7 gamers, then it is clear that the game's playerbase has dwindled well-nigh to nothing, which means it no longer makes sense for Respawn to try and maintain it.

This isn't the end of the franchise though. According to Respawn, "Remainder assured, Titanfall is cadre to Respawn's DNA and this incredible universe will proceed. Today in Titanfall 2 and Apex Legends, and in the future. This franchise is a north star for the calibre of experiences we volition continue to create here at Respawn."
